Dawn
Rays of sunlight spray gently through
And glisten on the morning dew
Again a sleepy haze is made
Caressing every subtle shade
The birds sing high up in the trees
Their song carried on a whispy breeze
The sky so blue without a cloud
Now free of winters icy shroud
Oh what joy for me to stand
So proud upon this British land
I thank the Lord that I was born
To witness this amazing dawn.
