Someone who listens,

Someone who cares,

A shoulder to cry on,

Who'll always be there.

A tower of strength,

To help me to cope,

A light in the dark,

Giving me hope.

Someone who's there,

To protect and defend,

Who's truthful and loyal,

That's what I call a friend.
