Hi, welcome to Lindsay's page. Lindsay was born on the 28th June, 1989. She was a good baby whilst we were in hospital, although that was less than 36 hours, and she hardly cried at all.
Whilst Lindsay was a good baby in Hospital, she soon made up for it as she began to grow older, and was known to have the odd tantrum - but what kid doesn't?
Usually, Lindsay is a very happy girl.
Although occasionally, she can be a very grumpy little girl!
Lindsay has always loved art and can always be found with a pencil or paint brush in her hand. She particularly enjoys the art of local artist Mackenzie Thorpe and it's a hard job trying to drag her past his art studio. She says that she might like to study art at college when she is older, although just lately she has mentioned wanting to join the police force or the Royal Navy, so plenty of time for making her mind up yet LOL.
Lindsay loves animals and here she is with her brother Peter at Hollywood Safari Park in Germany
Lindsay is doing okay at school. She seems to be popular there, but that could well be down to her sharp sense of humour and ability for making others laugh. The photo below was her first school photo taken at William Wordsworth School in Sennelager, Germany.
Lindsay has captained the girls football team, and this is a role that she has enjoyed. The photo below shows the trophy that she and her team mates won in 1999, for Wavell School in England. Notice the Bob Geldof hair do!!!
Lindsay is the entertainer of the family, the zany one, the comedian!!! She has this knack for being able to impersonate other people and you just can't help but laugh at her, as she is quite good at it. She particularly likes to impersonate Dr. Evil, Perry from Kevin and Perry, and Cartman (although she isn't allowed to watch Southpark, but she has seen trailers for the show).
Lindsay seems to have grown up really quickly. One minute she was a baby, and now she is growing into a pretty young lady - although she acts like a tom boy!!! She is still a bit of a handful at times, having those tantrums of hers, but hopefully, one of these days she will grow out of those. Either way, we all love her very much, and wouldn't swap her for anything!
Lindsay has had a tough couple of years and her school work really started getting to her. This was because, due to my husband being in
the army, we had to move to another place, then six months after getting there we split up and moved back to Hereford. As Lindsay was near to taking
her GCSE exams she found herself under a lot of stress and would stay up to 3am in the morning sometimes just doing her homework! I am so proud of her
as she recently got her GCSE results - and passed 10 of them with very good grades! She is now taking a year out of school whilst she decides whether to
go into teaching sport or to become a police officer. She works part time at a supermarket and spends her money wisely! Like Peter she is also into
rock music and has taught herself to play the electric guitar. It makes me smile when I hear a tune I recognise and to know that she is playing it!
The photo above was taken just before Lindsay left school this year - and she was posing for the camera (Avril Lavigne style).
